Meet Our Cats
These cats have a permanent sanctuary home here with us, but we welcome inquiries from those who feel a special connection to one of them.
Meet Chloe - The Adventurous Road Tripper! Chloe here, weighing in at a petite 6 pounds with the energy of a cat three times my size! Sure, someone once said I was "too high energy," but between you and me, I think they just couldn't handle my zest for lifeâthough I'll admit I'm a little protective of my neck from some not-so-great experiences in my past. But here's what really matters: I love going places, I rock a leash like a total pro, and I'm ready to be your adventure buddy who'll explore the world with you, one exciting outing at a time!

Meet Gem - The Independent Ice Queen! Gem here, and at 2 years old, I'm a survivor who knows how to take care of myselfâmy brother Maple and I made it through a brutal winter in Springfield before landing at the sanctuary. I'm what you'd call independent with a capital I, the kind of cat who appreciates her space and does things on her own terms. I've got some tummy troubles we're working through, but a little digestive drama isn't going to slow down this resilient girl.
Meet Lucas - The Silent Snuggle Sprinter! Lucas here, and at just 1 year old, I've mastered the art of being the strong, silent typeâwell, mostly because my meow is so high-pitched I only use it for emergencies! The moment you call my name, I come running like my life depends on it, ready to flip over for some quality belly rub time. I came to the sanctuary with my gals Dixie and Maggie (we're distant relatives of Maple and Gem, fancy that!), and while I may not be the chattiest cat around, give me a wand toy or any chance to interact with my favorite humans and I'll show you just how much personality I've got packed into this handsome body.
Meet Dixie - The Queen of Scratchin' and Ticklin'! Dixie here, folks! I may only be 1 year old, but let me tell you, I've got the purrfect combo of sass and sweetness, plus a fur coat that would make even the most stylish cat jealous. I loooove getting my back scratchedâseriously, try it and I'll raise up to show you just how good it feelsâand a good tickle session will make me one happy kitty. Oh, and I've got a little twitchy thing going on (nothing serious!), so I need snacks throughout the day to keep this fabulous feline feeling fine.
These are only 6 of our 13 current residents!
Meet Cinnamon - The Spicy Survivor! Cinnamon here, and at 5 years old, I've earned every bit of my nameâI've got flavor, sass, and just the right amount of spice! My sisters Pip, Spitz, Lulu and I were rescued from a hoarding situation in Butler, PA, and let's just say I learned to stand my ground and speak my mind. I'm not your average sweet and docile kitty, but if you're looking for a feisty feline with personality for days and a backbone of steel, then buckle up buttercupâI'm your girl!

More coming soon...

Meet Lulu - The Quiet Chest Warmer! Lulu here, and while my sisters Pip, Spitz, and Cinnamon might have the louder personalities, I'm the shy, gentle soul who prefers a quieter life after being rescued from that hoarding situation in Butler, PA. I get picked on sometimes by the bolder cats, but my humans always have my back and keep me safe. I've perfected the art of sitting on your chest while you work with your laptop on your lapâtrust me, I know exactly how to position myself so we both fit just right!
