As temperatures drop, sanctuary winter care becomes our top priority at Special Little Whiskers Kitten Sanctuary. Here's how we keep our indoor felines cozy and healthy during the cold months.
Temperature Control & Comfort
We maintain optimal warmth using energy-efficient space heaters. Our cats also love snuggling into blankets during nap time.
Health & Wellness
Winter means increased cat sanctuary winter care routines. We add humidifiers to prevent dry skin. For those who are simply prone to dry skin anyways, we put coconut oil on their most delicate spots.
Enrichment Activities
To combat winter boredom, we rotate interactive toys and provide cozy boxes for them to enjoy.
